More pictures of the boot floor:

As you can see in this shot, There is quite a bit of corrosion in the spare wheel well where the towing eye is fixed. I removed the eye and also the rusty metal and welded in new.

Hopefully I won't be required to tow anything...

A view from underneath of where the towing eye was and the repaired boot floor.

Next job was the front jacking points, both of which were badly corroded due to damage being done sometime in the past. I decided to remove the jacking points altogether, on the advice of Jenson (PAN366E) from the AROC South Wales section.

As you can see, I was left with a square hole in the floor. I simply welded in fresh metal and didn't bother with a jacking point. On these cars its quite safe to jack up the front end at the lower suspension arm.

That took care of the welding. Both of the rear other arches required attention. At the moment, I have only repaired the passenger side one, I'll do the drivers side next winter. As this is is non structural I decided to repair this with fibreglass. as the repairs are all concealed by the arch trim, this meant no paint was required. This very important as any respraying work is not something I am prepared to to myself and the cost of having it done by others would have put me well over budget!
