Winter 2004/5
During this time I had some new heads to fit that had been reprofiled to allow the bike to run the later 4dp flat topped pistons. Apart from a piston change there was not really a lot more that the bike required for '05 apart from a new back tyre. This was just as well, because I had no money and lots of debt!
I had hoped to go accross to Ireland and race at Dundrod this year, also I wanted to do a couple of the MRO meets, icluding Croft and Knockhill. Croft MRO was to be my first meet of the season, when it was time to send in my entry, I realised that I did not have enough money to pay the entry fees, let alone the rest of the costs of the meet.
In the end I only managed the September meet at East Fortune and this turned out to be a disaster as you will see in my diary for the event.
